MANHATTAN, Kan. -- The American Institute of Baking here has scheduled its annual bagel seminar and an additional hands-on workshop on bagel production for Aug. 21 to 25 at its facility here.
onsumers have made the bagel, formerly an ethnic product unknown in some parts of the United States, one of the country's fastest-selling products, said an AIB source.
This year the seminar, featuring lectures on equipment and technology, and the hands-on production lab will require separate enrollments.
