CHICAGO -- The Bakery Equipment Manufacturers' Association here is featuring Jim Lovell, commander of the Apollo 13 space flight, as its keynote speaker for BEMA Tech '95, Sept. 13 to 15 in Las Vegas.
'95 is the baking and food industries' first technology conference and exhibition, according to BEMA. The conference slate includes educational seminars for in-store bakeries, retail-food service and wholesale segments of the industry. BEMA's exhibit is held in conjunction with an exhibition sponsored by the North American Food Equipment Manufacturers' Association, also based here, which runs Sept. 14 to 16. Both are to take place at the Las Vegas convention center.
