KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Associated Wholesale Grocers here last week named Steve Dillard vice president, corporate sales development. He will assume the former responsibilities of Bill Lancaster, who retired from AWG at the end of July after founding the department in 1988 and serving as vice president. Dillard joined AWG in 1974 and worked his way up through a variety of positions, most recently serving as vice president of education and training, and special projects. In his new position, Dillard will be responsible for securing new business for AWG. He will report to Jerry Garland, executive vice president.
