CUMBERLAND, R.I. --- Bow tie Bakers, manufacturers of Isabella's brand fat-free muffins and coffee cakes, has introducted no-sugar-added muffins in three flavors.

The thaw-and-sell products contain maltitol syrup and Grade A fruit for sweetening. The no-sugar-added items are primarily marketed in supermarket in-store bakeries, as is a full line of fat-free muffins. The suggested retail is $3.99 to $4.99 per four-pack.
Bow Tie Bakers executives said the no-sugar-added products are currently distributed in New England and metropolian New York, but the company is currently seeking additional brokers and distributors in order to attain national distribution.
