WOODBRIDGE, N.J. -- Pathmark Supermarkets here has named Ron Marshall executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Marshall was financial chief for Dart Group Corp., Landover, Md., and president of Dart's Crown Books division. At Pathmark he reports to Jack Futterman, chairman and chief executive officer.
In other personnel changes, Stan Sorkin has been named vice president of public affairs.
Sorkin succeeds John Shipton, formerly senior vice president of marketing and public affairs, who is giving up the public affairs function.
Shipton remains senior vice president of marketing and continues
to report to Ron Rallo, senior vice president of merchandising.
Sorkin was vice president of sales. In his new position he reports to Bob Joyce, senior vice president of administration.
Succeeding Sorkin, with the title director of sales, is Eileen Scott, formerly director of grocery sales and merchandising. She reports to Rallo.
Succeeding Scott as director of grocery sales and merchandising is Chris Williams, formerly director of nonfood sales and merchandising. He reports to Don Sussman, vice president and grocery merchandiser.
Succeeding Williams is Dan Dinkowitz, formerly grocery sales manager. He reports to Paul Stanton, vice president and nonfood merchandiser. The new grocery sales manager is Pat Longo.
