The International Housewares Association, Rosemont, Ill., does not have an agreement to take over or continue the Association of Retail Marketing Services Supermarket Promotion Show in 2007. Former exhibitors in the show, which is defunct, approached IHA to provide space for them, and IHA intends to create a new category of the International Home & Housewares Show that will likely be located in the same space that ARMS formerly occupied, but will not be affiliated with ARMS, an IHA spokeswoman said.
