NEW YORK -- A Colgate-Palmolive executive was killed and another injured here when the company helicopter they were riding in plunged into the East River last week. eputy general counsel for technology and marketing, was hospitalized in critical condition. The helicopter lifted off from a Manhattan heliport at about 5:30 p.m. last Tuesday. It climbed about 35 feet in the air when its tail rotor broke off, witnesses said, sending it into the East River.
