MINNEAPOLIS -- Wholesalers and retailers from across the country came here to learn and celebrate during "Productivity Connects," the annual Productivity Convention and Exposition, put on by Food Distributors International and International Foodservice Distributors Association, Falls Church, Va., along with Food Marketing Institute, Washington, D.C., and National Grocers Association, Reston, Va. Topics of the more than 90 educational sessions included logistics, technology and human resources. The show's annual truck driving championship was held, and there were six facility tours offered, including those of Supervalu and Fleming.
