In last week's story, "Metro AG Debuts High-Tech Future Store," one of the store's applications concerned a video presentation that is triggered when an RFID-tagged item is taken off the shelf. The video presentation is on a plasma screen suspended above the shelf, not on the personal shopping assistant. Also, a video presentation about a product at a kiosk is triggered when the product is scanned, not as it is removed from the shelf.
