Collectible Log Cabin Syrup Tins

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Aurora Foods here is offering its original Log Cabin table syrup in three collectible historic tins that will begin to ship to grocery and mass merchant retailers in September.

Meanwhile, the company will continue to offer its full line of flavors in the brand's log cabin shaped plastic bottle.

Each 20-ounce tin commemorates one of the three presidential log cabin sites being restored this year under the National Park Foundation's program, funded by Aurora Foods. The sites represented by the tins include George Washington's cabin at Valley Forge, Pa.; The Maltese Cross Cabin at Theodore Roosevelt National Park in Medora, N.D.; and Grant's Civil War Headquarters at City Point, Petersburg National Battlefield, Hopewell, Va.

The full-color tins were designed by Gammon Ragonesi & Associates, New York, and manufactured by New England Container, Swanton, Vt. Each tin is rich in detail, and the screw-off metal lid is positioned as a chimney top.

"Log Cabin is helping to protect the heritage preserved in the National Parks for current and future generations to enjoy," said Ed Yuhas, general manager for Aurora's Breakfast Foods Division.
