Deli, dairy and bakery officials got reacquainted with industry cronies, and nibbled on lots of new and reformulated products, including cheeses, spreads, salads, dips and pizzas. There was nothing bland about the flavor profiles of the new products. Manufacturers also touted the features that make their products convenient, not only for consumers, but for retailers looking for ways to simplify merchandising and curb shrink.
