WASHINGTON (FNS) -- President Clinton has nominated former Kansas Congressman Dan Glickman as the next Agriculture Secretary. If approved by Congress, Glickman will succeed Mike Espy, who resigned this fall in the face of an inquiry into whether he accepted favors from the poultry and food processing industries.
