JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing will host its annual Healthy Living Foods event here Nov. 5-8 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront.

At the 2006 event, ECRM combined its proprietary “Efficient Program Planning Sessions” with a roster of educational seminars, including presentations by Jim Riddle, former chair of the National Organic Standards Board; Maryellen Molyneaux, president of the Natural Marketing Institute; and Bob Vosburgh, editor of SN Whole Health, a publication of Supermarket News.

Representatives from ECRM said they had been pleased with both last year's turnout and the response from attendees.

“2006's event was the most successful Healthy Living event we have had to date, based on attendance and feedback,” said Kevin Osborn, vice president of sales at ECRM. “Comments from participants noted specifically how the general sessions were timely and informative, as well as the efficiency and quality of the meetings.”

The agenda for this year's program has not yet been set, but Osborn said the company plans to renew the educational component.

In addition, ECRM's Efficient Program Planning Sessions use tablet PCs outfitted with the company's proprietary software and a wireless Internet connection to facilitate brief 20-minute meetings between buyers and sellers, as well as simplify post-meeting follow-up.

“Buyers and sellers have noted that it saves them valuable time by having focused meetings and reducing travel by sellers out of the office,” noted Osborn.
