Spira was honored for his service to the organization and to the industry during his 10-year tenure at the helm of EPPA. With more than 35 years in the food industry, Spira left EPPA early this year to launch his own marketing and consulting firm, Marketing Consultants International in New York. John Fugazzi, a former supermarket retail executive, has assumed the role of executive director.
