Homeland Taps VP of Finance
d Stores here has named Francis Wong to the new position of vice president of finance. He reports to Larry Kordisch, acting chief executive officer. Wong, who joined Homeland in 1989, has advanced from director of financial planning to assistant treasurer and, most recently, to treasurer.
Genuardi's Creates Two New Positions
NORRISTOWN, Pa. -- Genuardi's Family Markets here has appointed directors to two new positions as part of an overall expansion and restructuring. Both report to Rich Juliano, vice president of marketing. Alan Tempest was named director of marketing services, with responsibilities for advertising and public relations programs. Previously, he operated Tempest Marketing & Advertising, Blue Bell, Pa., and was a marketing consultant to Genuardi's for more than 12 years.
William Wolfe 2nd has been named director of merchandising. He has held merchandising posts at Ahold U.S.A., Atlanta, as well as Phar-Mor, Youngstown, Ohio, and Giant Eagle, Pittsburgh.
