Randall's Appoints Brown Corporate VP

named corporate vice president of food service for Randall's Food Markets here. It is a new position.

Brown, previously merchandiser of deli-bakery for Dallas-based Tom Thumb Food & Drugs, a division of Randall's, reports to Randall Onstead Jr., president and chief operating officer.

Brown joined Tom Thumb in 1957 as a stocker and has held several positions of increasing responsibility since then, including store manager and zone manager.

In his new role, Brown will serve as vice president over both Tom Thumb and Randall's.
