Grand Union Taps Merchandising VP
has been named vice president of grocery merchandising and product procurement at Grand Union Co. here.
Abbood was director of category management. In his new position, he remains responsible for category management as well as supervising the buying functions of Brattleboro, Vt.-based C&S Wholesale Grocers, which supplies grocery products and perishables to Grand Union.
