Ralphs Appoints Two VPs
alphs Grocery Co. here has appointed two vice presidents to oversee information systems operations.
Gary Herman has been named to the new position of vice president of information systems applications, responsible for the development of store, corporate and facility systems. He most recently served as director of retail systems.
Mike Laddon has been named vice president of information systems operations, another new position. Previously, he managed information services at the former Food 4 Less chain.
Herman and Laddon's new responsibilities were previously carried out by Jane Rice, senior vice president and chief information officer, who is on leave from the company.
