Senior VP Appointed at Kroger
headquartered here, has named Michael Heschel to the new position of senior vice president of information systems and services.
Most recently, Heschel was group vice president of information systems and services.
In his new position, Heschel will direct the company's management information systems and coordinate programs in logistics and re-engineering. His appointment reflects Kroger's increasing focus on operating efficiencies that reduce costs and improve productivity, said Joseph Pichler, Kroger's chairman and chief executive officer.
