Fleming Names Campbell Retail President
ek it has given J.R. Campbell, who joined the company in January as executive vice president, merchandising, the additional title of president, Fleming retail. In that position, he succeeds Tom Dahlen, who will remain with the company as executive vice president, working on various company initiatives.
In addition to Campbell, Bill May joined the company as senior vice president of operations. He will report to Steve Davis, executive vice president and president, wholesale. He succeeds Leonard Kaye, who retired earlier this year. Most recently, May was vice president of Gap Global Distribution.
Rick Schnorr also joined Fleming to become president of its Lafayette (La.) Division. He reports to Tim LaBeau, senior vice president of operations. Previously, Schnorr was Jackson, Miss., division president of Alliant Foodservice, an Ahold USA company.
