Ockleshaw Named Hazelwood CEO
rms Bakeries, based here, has named David Ockleshaw president and chief executive officer.
Ockleshaw joined Hazelwood Farms in 1998 as president and chief operating officer. He brings more than 30 years experience to his new position, having served as president and CEO of Indian Summer Inc., a division of Ranks Hovis McDougall, and then of Richelieu Group Inc. Prior to his joining Hazelwood Farms, Ockleshaw began and operated a consulting business that focused on marketing perishable products in the supermarket, particularly in the bakery/deli departments.
Ockleshaw succeeds Walter G. Van Benthuysen, chairman and CEO, who has retired but will continue to provide consulting services to the company.
