MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Associated Grocers of New England has appointed Darcia J. Anderson grocery and frozen foods buyer for its grocery merchandising department, an additional position created within the company. Her experience includes inventory management, price negotiation, and product and vendor sourcing in the United States as well as overseas. Most recently, Anderson was a buyer for 18 years at Europackaging (formerly KPI), where she was also a scheduling team member and backed up the traffic manager regarding orders for major customers. In her new position, she will report to Clem Deschenes, director of purchasing, grocery merchandising department.
