Beeks was formerly president of Artisan Home Entertainment here, which Lions Gate bought late last year. Beeks will have responsibility for several operations and divisions, overseeing all the home entertainment businesses of Lions Gate, which is principally headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. He reports to Jon Feltheimer, Lions Gate chief executive officer. Previously, Beeks had founded Hallmark Home Entertainment, and was with Paragon Group and Republic Pictures.
