EXECUTIVE CHANGE: FOOD LION NAMES MEIJER EXEC TO NEW POSITION

Salisbury, N.C. -- Food Lion has selected Dennis Post to be vice president of solutions delivery, a new position. Post will lead Food Lion's IT solutions delivery team, responsible for developing and implementing non-retail applications. He will report to Terry Morgan, senior vice president of information technology and chief information officer. Post, who has more than 20 years of experience in the supermarket industry, was previously with Meijer, Grand Rapids, Mich., where he served as vice president of information technology and services, director of information technology and services, director of accounts payable and receivables, and manager of financial and operational audit.
