EXECUTIVE CHANGE: GELSON'S MARKETS APPOINTS FRATTALI TO NEW VP POSITION

ENCINO, Calif. -- Gelson's Markets has promoted Tom Frattali to the position of vice president of grocery purchasing and merchandising, responsible for supervising the grocery purchasing and merchandising for all 18 locations in the Gelson's chain. He replaces Donna Tyndall, who was promoted to senior director of store operations. Prior to his promotion, Frattali was senior director of grocery purchasing.

ENCINO, Calif. -- Gelson's Markets has promoted Tom Frattali to the position of vice president of grocery purchasing and merchandising, responsible for supervising the grocery purchasing and merchandising for all 18 locations in the Gelson's chain. He replaces Donna Tyndall, who was promoted to senior director of store operations. Prior to his promotion, Frattali was senior director of grocery purchasing. In his new role, he will report directly to Robert Stiles, company president. Frattali, who has been with Gelson's for more than 23 years, started as a clerks' helper and had progressed to the positions of clerk, assistant manager, grocery manager, store director, grocery buyer, director of grocery purchasing and, most recently, senior director of grocery purchasing.
