Gill Resigns From Fleming
ny Gill has resigned his position as the manager of bakery-deli sales and merchandising at the corporate level for Fleming Cos. here.
A successor has not yet been named. Gill resigned to pursue other opportunities outside the wholesale field, he said.
He had been with the company for seven years, in various positions.
Fleming Cos. is the largest wholesaler and second largest food distributor in America.
Milk Board Appoints Conway
MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board has named George W. Conway regional marketing manager for Wisconsin and Minnesota.
He succeeds Kevin O'Connor, who has been named regional marketing manager, East Central/Northwest region. O'Connor succeeds Tim Sexton, who has left the organization.
Previously, Conway was national sales manager and marketing director for the cheese division of Galloway West, Fond du Lac, Wis. In his new post, he reports to Bill Drew, vice president of marketing for retail cheese.
The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board is a milk promotion group funded by the state's 29,000 dairy farmers.
