WINN-DIXIE, JACKSONVILLE, Fla., said it has named Dean Dell Antonia vice president, performance and reward systems. Previously, Antonia was managing director of compensation and benefits for Rite Aid Corp.

FOOD LION, SALISBURY, N.C., said it has named John Vegas, director of diversity. Reporting to Natalie Taylor, Vegas is responsible for coordinating the company's outreach efforts to the Hispanic community, diversity education and development/advancement for minority employees. Previously, Vegas was district manager, Southeastern operations, and human resources for the Hampton Roads, Va., area for Hannaford Bros. Co., which was acquired this year by Food Lion's corporate parent, Delhaize America.
