PRICE CHOPPER NAMES SWEET VP-CONSTRUCTION
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Price Chopper Supermarkets here said last week that William R. Sweet has been named vice president of construction and engineering for the company. He will oversee all design, engineering, construction and maintenance projects for the 115-store chain and will report to Don Orlando, vice president of real estate and construction. Sweet, 49, brings to his new position 27 years of experience in real estate, construction and development; most recently he was managing director of ADD Development and Management, Latham, N.Y.
OGA TAPS FORMER LEGISLATIVE LIAISON BARR
COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Grocers Association here said last week it has named Kelly Nomina Barr as director of government relations and public affairs, responsible for OGA's government and media affairs. She is a former legislative liaison to former Ohio Attorney General Jim Petro.
