Marquard Joins Fleming as Exec VP
am H. Marquard joins Fleming here as executive vice president of business development and chief knowledge officer.
As chief knowledge officer, Marquard will be responsible for overall information systems. He will also oversee Fleming's company-wide knowledge bases as they relate to customers. In addition, Marquard will direct the development of new retail and service business concepts.
Prior to joining Fleming, Marquard held a number of positions with Ernst & Young, most recently heading the firm's development of a methodology for customer relationship management. Marquard will report to Mark Hansen, Fleming's chief executive officer.
Roche Bros. Fills Loss Prevention Job
WELLESLEY HILLS, Mass. -- Roche Bros. Supermarkets here has named Tim Scanlon to the new position of loss prevention coordinator for Roche Bros./Sudbury Farms. He will be responsible for security and loss prevention as well as cash office and front-end operations.
Scanlon, with Roche Bros. since 1981, has worked in a variety of positions, most recently as an assistant store manager.
