Fiesta Mart Appoints Manager
as named Larry Jones deli merchandising manager and has expanded his responsibilities to include food service.
He was formerly hot and cold deli buyer, supervisor.
Jones has taken on the responsibilities of Ed Ambrose, food-service director, who has been appointed international foods and health foods buyer for the chain.
With 20 years in the retail food business, Jones has been with Fiesta Mart for a little more than four years.
In his new position, he will report to Greg Smith, director of merchandising.
Big V Names Food-Service Head
FLORIDA, N.Y. -- Big V Supermarkets has named Jere Dudley director of food services and service deli operations.
He succeeds Marc Waltzer, who left the company last fall.
Before joining Big V, Dudley had been with Kings Super Markets, West Caldwell, N.J., for 13 years, most recently as deli and bakery sales manager. In his new position, he reports to Joe Fisher, senior vice president of operations and marketing. Big V, which owns and operates 30 ShopRite Supermarkets, is a member of Wakefern Food Corp., a retailer-owned cooperative food wholesaler.
