Winn-Dixie Names Sellers to Oversee So. Fla.
here said Mark Sellers, president of the company's Central Florida Division, has been named to oversee the South Florida Division as well, effective immediately. He succeeds Raymond Lunn, who left to pursue other interests, a spokesman for the company told SN. Sellers, 48, is a 29-year company veteran who previously had been president of the Tampa Division before it was merged with the Orlando Division in 2000.
Meijer Makes Grocery Personnel Moves
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Meijer here has made some changes in the structure of its grocery operations, sources told SN. Larry Zigerelli was named senior vice president, merchandising, and Dave Perron will report to him as division vice president, foods merchandising. Dave Prostko and Ralph Fischer will report to Perron as group vice president, perishables merchandising, and group vice president, grocery merchandising, respectively. Also, Terry Griffith will report to Zigerelli as divisional vice president, hardlines. A spokeswoman for Meijer declined to comment on the changes, and further information was not immediately available.
