Wakefern Names VP of marketing
Williams has become vice president of marketing for the Wakefern Food Corp. here. In this new position, she will report to Joe Sheridan, executive vice president.
Most recently Williams was director of information system services. Prior to that, she joined Wakefern as manager for corporate services. Before joining the company Williams held various positions in information systems and merchandising for Pathmark Stores, Carteret, N.J.
Kaplan Is Named President, Fleming's Tulsa Division
DALLAS -- Fleming last week named John Kaplan president of its new Tulsa division. As division president, Kaplan will support the many associates who service the Albertson's stores in the area, while also positioning the division for other new business. He will report to Scott Nicholson, operating group president.
Most recently, Kaplan headed Fleming's Lincoln division. Prior to joining Fleming last year, Kaplan was president and chief operating officer of Demma Fruit Co.
