Consumers Markets Appoints Williams
arkets here has named Judy Williams director of bakery-deli operations.
She was bakery-deli buyer for the Westville, Ind., division of Roundy's, Pewaukee, Wis. The division serves 140 independents in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Illinois.
Williams succeeds Michael Knisley, who left the company to accept a position with Lady Baltimore Foods, a food service distributor based in Kansas City, Kansas.
In her new post, Williams reports to David Miller, chief executive officer for 23-unit Consumers Markets.
Wall Leaves Food City Stores
ABINGDON, Va. -- Connie Wall, deli-bakery director at Food City Stores here, has left the company.
A source at the 65-unit chain said the company is currently seeking a successor for Wall, who was there for less than a year. Formerly she was a district deli merchandiser for Troy, Mich.-based Super Kmart Centers.
