An 11-year employee of the company, Wheeler reports to Mike Bourgoine, senior vice president of merchandising and logistics. Wheeler replaces Brian Ramsay, who retired June 29 after a 29-year career with the company.

The largest retailer-owned wholesale grocery distribution center in New England, Associated Grocers of New England serves more than 400 independent supermarket retailers throughout a six-state region and areas of upstate New York.

WMMB Names Executive

MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board here has appointed Patrick Geoghegan to succeed Andrea Neu as senior vice president of corporate communications. Neu, with WMMB for 17 years, has announced her retirement. She was one of the first employees to join the trade association after it began operating in 1984. Geoghegan was formerly vice president/director of public relations at Stephan & Brady, a public relations/advertising agency here. He had been there since 1989. His journalism background includes a stint as senior editor at Supermarket News.
