Heineken USA Names VPs

- Heineken USA here has named T. Daniel Tearno vice president of corporate affairs, a new position.

Tearno has responsibility for all public relations activities, both on the corporate and brand level, internal and external corporate communications activities, government regulations, legal compliance and community relations. Tearno joins Heineken USA from Molson Breweries USA, Reston, Va., a subsidiary of Miller Brewing Co., where he was vice president of corporate affairs.

Heineken has also named Art Masarky vice president of human resources, filling a vacant position. Masarky was most recently vice president of human resources at Tokai Bank Ltd., New York. He has held similar positions with Concord Leasing, Citibank and Matsushita/Panasonic.

Tearno and Masarky report to Michael Foley, president and chief executive officer.

Beverage Marketing Adds VP

NEW YORK -- Beverage Marketing Corp. here has named Katherine A. Weber a vice president in its Consulting Services division.

In this new position, Weber's responsibilities include coordinating the efforts of the members of the division as well as direct supervision of consulting programs on behalf of a number of the firm's clients.

Weber joined Beverage Marketing in 1994 as a principal in the Consulting Services division. Weber reports to Stan Kostman, executive vice president and chief operating officer.
