Bashas' Names Services VP
shas' Marketshere has appointed Jason Volk vice president of food services, a new position in the 93-unit company. He oversees all operations for both delis and in-store bakeries in those units that have them, reporting to Mark Barnett, senior vice president of sales and merchandising.
Volk joined Bashas' in 1996 as head of deli operations, a role that has since grown to include management of the retailer's in-store bakeries. Most recently, he held the title of director of food services.
Perdue Farms Taps
Northeast Manager
SALISBURY, Md. -- Perdue Farms here has appointed Dana Diggs Northeast regional manager for the company's retail prepared-foods division, responsible for the development and execution of sales for Perdue's prepared-foods lines in the Northeast territory, which includes the metro New York area and New England.
Prior to this, he was Northeast regional district manger for the same division, which he joined a year ago. Other professional experience includes 12 years with the grocery division of Hershey Foods.
