Food Lion Taps Division VP
d Lion here said it has appointed Dave Morgan vice president of operations for its Southern division.
Morgan, who most recently served as Food Lion's store operations director, is responsible for overseeing operations for more than 350 stores in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. He joined Food Lion in 1990 as an area supervisor.
Chuck Buckley, who had held the vice president of operations title since 1994, is assuming a new position as special projects executive.
Amy Goff succeeds Morgan as store operations director, where she will oversee operations of 89 units in Tennessee and Kentucky. Goff joined Food Lion in 1986, serving most recently as store operations supervisor.
