Kroger KMA Adds Home Economist
ere has appointed Daisy King to the new position of home economist/food consultant for its Nashville, Tenn., marketing area.
King was corporate home economist and merchandising specialist at Steven's Food Stores, Nashville, from 1991 until Steven's was sold in 1997. From 1974 until 1991, King owned and operated two Nashville restaurants, called Miss Daisy's. She also is the author of seven cookbooks. Most recently, King worked for the Nashville Kroger KMA as a consultant.
In her new, full-time post with the company, King reports to Dewayne Scott, deli merchandiser for the 80-unit Nashville Kroger marketing area.
