Pepsi-Cola Gets New CEO
psiCo here has named Craig E. Weatherup chairman and chief executive officer of its $11 billion Pepsi-Cola Co. unit, headquartered in Somers, N.Y. He succeeds Christopher A. Sinclair, 45, who resigned from the company for personal reasons.
Weatherup, 50, had been president of PepsiCo since March, and prior to that was president and chief executive officer of Pepsi-Cola North America for six years. He is a 21-year veteran of PepsiCo's beverage business.
Sinclair has also resigned from PepsiCo's board of directors.
Wechsler Appoints President
MOONACHIE, N.J. -- Wechsler Coffee Corp. here has named Michael J. O'Donnell its new president. The first non-family member to run the firm, O'Donnell succeeds Michael Slater, who has been named chairman, a new post.
Managing the day-to-day operations of the company, O'Donnell's responsibilities include boosting product sales and identifying and exploiting new areas for growth. O'Donnell joins Wechsler from American Pharmaceutical Co., where he was president and chief executive officer.
Wechsler is a leading food-service industry supplier, as well as a private-label and specialty coffee roaster.
