Alberto-Culver Taps Group VP
berto-Culver here said John T. Boone has joined the company as group vice president for domestic consumer products.
In his position, Boone will be responsible for the company's USA toiletries business and household/grocery products division, as well as for supervising the company's advertising and market research.
Boone joins Alberto-Culver from Modami Services, a food and consumer products company. He replaces Robert Weisman, who left the company about six months ago to take a position at Sara Lee.
Also at Alberto-Culver, Roslyn Chapman has been named director of retail sales for TCB, a line of ethnic hair products, in its professional division.
Chapman joined the company in 1985 as a national account manager for TCB. In the newly created position, she will be responsible for TCB's retail sales activities throughout the United States and for military sales worldwide.
