Alberto-Culver Creates New Unit
-Culver Co. here has named Carol Bernick vice chairman of the company and president of a new unit, Alberto-Culver North American, comprising Alberto-Culver USA, Alberto-Culver Canada and Cosmetic Laboratories of America, the company's custom-packaging division.
Bernick had been president of Alberto-Culver USA and a director and executive vice president of Alberto-Culver. Terrence Stecz, formerly president of American Home Products' Whitehall-Robins Health Care unit, Madison, N.J., takes over for Bernick as head of Alberto-Culver USA.
PLI Appoints Krupa VP of Sales
CALABASAS, Calif. -- Nutritional supplement maker Performance Labs here has appointed Richard Krupa vice president of sales. He will handle U.S. sales development for all the company's lines, which include such products as Vitalert, GarliMax, VitaMax and CardioMax and are currently available at Wal-Mart, Albertson's, and American and Winn-Dixie Stores, among others. Krupa comes to PLI from 4 Health, Boulder, Colo., where he was national director of sales.
