Odom's Appoints Marketing Director
ac has been appointed marketing director at Odom's Tennessee Pride Country Sausage, based here.
Bessac, who was most recently director of marketing for Bryan Foods, reports to Dennis Mueller, vice president of sales and marketing. He succeeds Gene Lewis, who left the company to pursue other career interests.
Previously, Bessac held a variety of brand marketing positions with divisions of Sara Lee Corp.
Kraft Taps VP, Canada Chief
NORTHFIELD, Ill. -- Kraft Foods, based here, has appointed Todd C. Brown executive vice president and general manager of the Desserts & Snacks division, and Irene B. Rosenfeld president of Kraft Canada.
Brown succeeds Rosenfeld. He was the vice president and general manger of the company's Polly-O line of specialty Italian cheese, based in Mineola, N.Y. He joined as vice president of marketing for Kraft USA in 1993.
Rosenfeld succeeds Charles A. Phillips, who resigned to pursue other career opportunities. She had been with the Desserts & Snacks division since 1994, and had previously held a series of marketing positions at General Foods.
Both Brown and Rosenfeld report to Robert S. Morrison, chairman and chief executive officer of Kraft Foods.
The Desserts & Snacks division includes Jell-O brand packaged and refrigerated desserts and Cool Whip topping, among other items.
