Two Slots Added By Farm Fresh
h here has named Earl Toler director of productivity, a new position.
A nine-year veteran of Farm Fresh, Toler most recently served as manager of productivity. He is responsible for developing and implementing labor and efficiency standards, as well as assisting stores in designing work schedules and using technology to improve employee productivity.
Michael Vadnais has been named manager of loss prevention and safety, also a new position.
Vadnais is responsible for risk management at all store locations. He most recently held positions in the loss prevention area for Montgomery Ward & Co., Chicago.
Chep Appoints Three Officers
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Chep USA here has named three officials to new positions in its executive management team.
Joseph Pinto has been named executive vice president for Latin America, a new post. His responsibility is to spearhead all Chep operations in South and Central America. Pinto, who formerly served as senior vice president and chief financial officer, is succeeded by Roger Miller, who formerly served as senior vice president for Cott Beverages USA, San Mateo, Calif.
Rex Lowe was named vice president of business development, also a new post. He previously served as director of operations for the firm's Atlanta division.
