Boston Beer Appoints Four
Co. here has appointed four executives to top sales positions.
The brewer of Sam Adams has named John Geist national sales manager; Phil Joffray to the new position of executive director of business development; Brian Cole director of national off-premise accounts; and George Ward division manager for the Central region.
Ward succeeds Geist as the manager of the Central region. He was most recently regional manager for Wisconsin and Illinois.
Heineken Names Three
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Heineken USA here has named Peter Dadzis vice president of sales and Greg Graves director of marketing research. Dadzis' most recent position was general manager at Thai Asia Pacific Breweries, based in Bangkok, Thailand. Graves had been Heineken's marketing and research manager.
Heineken has also appointed Andrea Soto director of national retail sales. Her most recent position was national accounts marketing manager.
Miller Taps Plant Manager
MILWAUKEE -- Miller Brewing Co. here announced that Christine Thelen has been named Milwaukee brewery plant manager, becoming the second female brewery manager among the nation's top breweries.
Thelen, a 20-year Miller veteran, will oversee all brewing, packaging and distribution at the facility. Previously, Thelen was packaging manager.
