Kash n' Karry Names Merchandiser
Food Stores here has appointed Bill Gaglione a regional meat merchandiser, a new position.
Before joining the chain, he was with Royal Food Distributors, Woodbridge, N.J., for 10 years, most recently as director of meat merchandising.
In his new post, Gaglione reports to Bob Weber, regional manager for the 100-unit Kash n' Karry.
Perdue Farms Names Two VPs
SALISBURY, Md. -- Perdue Farms here has named Steve Evans and Tom McLaughlin to new vice president positions. Evans has been named vice president of sales and McLaughlin has been named vice president of marketing. Both report to Bob Turley, president of Perdue Farms.
Evans is responsible for all poultry sales activities. He has been with the company since 1985, serving as Cornish product manager, Perdue Done It! product manager, corporate marketing manager and director of marketing, among other positions. Most recently, he was vice president of sales and marketing for the Fresh Poultry division. McLaughlin is responsible for all poultry marketing activities. He joined the company in 1993 as director of marketing for turkey products. Later that year, he was named director of sales and marketing for Perdue Foods division. Before joining Perdue, McLaughlin worked for over 20 years in marketing positions in the food and meat industry.
