American Seafoods Names Senior VP

based here, has named Thomas D. Warner to the new position of senior vice president of sales and marketing.

Warner had been vice president of sales for Mission Foods in Los Angeles, and had previously held senior management positions with Sun-Diamond Growers of California and RJR Industries.

He reports to Bernt O. Bodal, president and chief executive officer of American Seafoods.

American Seafoods is a privately held company with 25 trawlers in five countries.

Richfood Adds Dairy VP Post

MECHANICSVILLE, Va. -- Richfood Holdings here has named Jan tenPas to the new position of vice president and assistant general manager of Richfood Fluid Dairy.

He now assists in the overall management of the dairy manufacturing operations, reporting to Donald G. Eipp, executive vice president of Richfood Fluid Dairy.

A Richfood employee since 1991, tenPas was most recently controller at Richfood Fluid Dairy.

Sargento Appoints Regional Managers

PLYMOUTH, Wis. -- Sargento Foods here has appointed Becky Howlett and Rich Storc as regional sales managers. Both are new posts.

Howlett and Storc were both area managers. Howlett continues to be responsible for account management of Sargento customers and brokers in Louisville, Ky.; New Orleans; Nashville, Tenn.; Evansville, Ill.; eastern Tennessee; Little Rock, Ark., and Memphis, Tenn. Storc is similarly responsible for his territory as area manager, including Toledo, Ohio, central Pennsylvania and the Quad Cities, with the addition of Pittsburgh.

Howlett reports to John Bottomley, a division manager based in Tampa, Fla., and Storc reports to Jim Hinsenkamp, division manager in Fort Wayne, Ind.

President Tapped At Seaboard Farms

KENNESAW, Ga. -- Seaboard Farms here has named Don Jackson president. Jackson was vice president of live operations for Seaboard Farms. As president, he succeeds Harry McDonald, who has left the company.

Jackson reports to the company's owner, Harry Bresky.

Steve Bolden succeeds Jackson as vice president of live operations. He was director of nutrition and research at WLR Foods.
