Atlantic Gem Promotes Four

Atlantic Gem Seafoods here has announced the promotions of four key executives, following the company's acquisition by The American Gem Group, a seafood holding company based in Houston.

James Mullin Jr. was promoted to president and Jeffrey Bolton was appointed to executive vice president. Additionally, Stephen Foreman has joined the company as vice president of sales and marketing, and Carlos Torralbo has joined as vice president of procurement.

Mullin, former managing director at Atlantic Gem, now oversees all company operations. Prior to joining Atlantic Gem in 1994, he held marketing positions at Tai Foong USA and Clouston Foods Group.

Bolton was previously operations director. In his new role, he oversees all of the company's unloading divisions and processing operations, as well as the procurement and processing of Atlantic Gem's fresh and frozen seafood products. Foreman, most recently director of retail sales at Clouston, will manage the company's internal sales staff, the national and regional retail chain store business and the national broker network for all classes of trade.
