Bristol-Myers Brand President Appointed
re has named Sion A. Boney to the position of president of Bristol-Myers Products. He was vice president of marketing for the company.
In his new position, Boney has overall responsibility for the company's U.S. consumer medicines and personal brands, including Ban, Bufferin, Comtrex, Excedrin, Keri, Nuprin and Sea Breeze. Boney also leads development of the company's new product and prescription to over-the-counter switches.
DuPont Merck Names CEO
WILMINGTON, Del. -- DuPont Merck here appointed Paul G. Howes to the position of president and chief executive officer. Howes succeeds Kurt M. Landgraf, who was recently elected chief financial officer and member of the office of the chief executive of DuPont and co-chair of DuPont Merck.
For the past three years, Howes has been president of Merck Frosst, the Canadian business unit of Merck & Co. Before that, he led Merck's U.S. Human Health hospital marketing group.
