Fleming Cos., Oklahoma City, said last week Richard La Trace, president of its Sentry Foods chain as well as of its Milwaukee-based wholesale division, has resigned for reasons of health. Previously, La Trace, who joined Fleming in May, had been president of Delchamps, Mobile, Ala. Fleming said it has yet to name a successor. Fleming Cos., Oklahoma City, said last week Richard La Trace, president of its Sentry Foods chain as well as of its Milwaukee-based wholesale division, has resigned for reasons of health. Previously, La Trace, who joined Fleming in May, had been president of Delchamps, Mobile, Ala. Fleming said it has yet to name a successor.

She will report to Mary Ellen Gowin, vice president of consumer and corporate affairs. Prior to joining Wakefern, Meleta was communications consultant to such Fortune 500 companies as Unilever and Avon Products.

Supervalu, Minneapolis, said it has promoted Karen Borman to assistant controller, wholesale food companies. Borman reports to Pam Knous, executive vice president and chief financial officer. Borman had served as vice president of finance for the company's Northwest region since 1995.

Haggen, Bellingham, Wash., said it has named Jeff Haggen to the newly created position of vice president, e-commerce. Haggen will report to Dale Henly, Haggen president and chief executive officer. Previously, Haggen was vice president of sales and merchandising.
