C&S Names Foster to VP Slot
Wholesale Grocers here has named Mark Foster vice president of transportation, a new position. Foster is responsible for all transportation-related logistical and quality issues for the C&S fleet.
Foster's most recent position was vice president of logistics and quality at BMI Transportation, Cleveland. Prior to that, Foster was corporate manager of logistics and transportation at Associated Grocers, Seattle.
CS Integrated Taps President and CEO
SECAUCUS, N.J. -- CS Integrated here has named former company president Cyriel L. Godderie, , to the positions of chairman and chief executive officer. In addition, the national refrigerated warehousing and distribution company has appointed Thomas P. Garrigan president and chief operating officer.
These appointments follow the acquisition in April of Christian Salvesen by Security Capital Industrial Trust, Aurora, Colo. At that time, the company name was changed from Christian Salvesen to CS Integrated.
Godderie joined Christian Salvesen in 1978, serving in a variety of positions in Europe and the United States before being named president in 1991.
Garrigan's most recent position was vice president of national services for Security Capital Industrial Trust, Atlanta. From 1993 to 1995, he was a senior vice president of SCI parent company Security Capital Group.
Bunzl Appoints Procurement VP
ST. LOUIS -- Mark Malone, formerly general manager of Bunzl Chicago, has been named vice president of corporate procurement for Bunzl Distribution USA here, a new position. Prior to joining Bunzl Chicago as general manager in 1990, Malone served in various sales and management positions at Mobil Chemical, Pittsford, N.Y. Bunzl distributes paper and plastic packaging supplies to the supermarket industry.
